Paul is a creative and focused specialist and entrepreneur with 30 years of experience across food, fibre and biotech. He identifies big and novel ideas and brings a substantial technical breadth combined with business development and technology transfer experience. Paul has experience in a broad range of technical areas including biotech ology, genomics, plant and animal breeding, soils, plant and animal nutrition, pesticides, biochemistry, agricultural engineering, cropping systems, agribusiness, food technology and processing, supply chains, and RD&E strategy. He has a BRuSci and GradDipEcon (UNE) and MBA (ANU) and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Paul established Colere Group in 2016 with a view to providing a different approach to consulting for both the clients and our associates. Drawing on a network of researchers, technical experts and other specialist providers, the aim was to support teams of skilled consultants and experts to the clients. Each team would be tailored to the job, combining generalist consultants with deep technical experts to provide outcomes that were more client-focused and communicated messages in a way that suited the end user. More than five years later this model has proven successful and popular with our core client base.
