Brian Ruddle | Managing Director
Brian formed Impact Innovation Group in 2006 to serve an unmet need for independent specialist commercialisation services. He has since helped form four start-up companies based on university technologies, which have raised between $450,000 and $2 million in seed rounds. He has also negotiated licence agreements with Australian and international companies, assisted SMEs with developing commercialisation strategies for new products and services, and brought to fruition the Enterprise Access platform to overcome inherent difficulties in commercialising new technologies and fostering the collaboration to accelerate the process. Brian provides part-time CEO expertise for technology start-up companies and currently holds this position with Nexgen Plants (a VC-backed plant virus resistance company) and NeoRehab (a telehealth solutions company for physiotherapy, speech pathology, audiology and occupational therapy). He also provides innovation strategy, innovation management and technology commercialisation consulting services across a range of sectors, including agriculture, mining, education, ICT, biotech, materials, medical devices and service sectors.ectors.

Peter Chudleigh | Managing Director
Peter built his highly successful AgTrans Research and Consulting business over +30 years into the dominate provider of economic evaluations for Australian RDCs. Peter provides economic research and consulting services to both public and private sector clients in Australia and overseas. AgTrans specialises in primary production, processing and marketing, natural resource management, RD&E planning and evaluation, investment analysis, and general applied economic analyses. Peter has extensive experience in the use of cost-benefit analysis as a tool for both prospective and historical research evaluation from projects to large RD&E portfolios. He has significant experience in business case assessment through market and economic analysis, identifying technical and political opportunities, and quantifying barriers for new products, processes, institutions and industries. Peter has a BSc (Wool and Pastoral Sciences) (UNSW – 1965), and a PhD (Systems Modelling and Agricultural Economics) (UNSW – 1970).

Robert is Australia’s specialist in agribusiness market research. Robert has +30 years in marketing and market research across the Australian Agribusiness sector. His work for clients helps to focus strategy formulation and implementation, sales and marketing in agribusiness through quantified evidence through direct marketing and farmer engagement). Robert is an expert in business intelligence and data mining for agribusiness. KG2 has +20 years of experience in mapping the Australian agricultural 'broadacre farmer' market. Robert has a BScAgr (USYD, 1978).

James Finlay | Managing Director

Integrating these insights with client data enables James to guide commercial decisions across the agricultural sector. He has significant experience in providing services to the GRDC. International Agricultural Development Specialist
Richard is a highly respected independent consultant with significant experience across agricultural sciences for development. He has wide‐ranging skills in understanding, planning, executing and evaluating agricultural science investments in developing countries. Richard brings expertise and is a mentor and advisor to our team and, where we bring opportunities to him, we will provide him, with support services (e.g. contract management, administration etc). Richard has a BA (Natural Sciences and Botany, Cambridge University ‐ 1975), and a PhD (Cambridge University ‐ 1979).
